For '97, the SPX features: an 85hp, 720 Series Rotax Marine powerplant; analog fuel/oil gauge; Variable Rate Oil Injection; 15 US gallon (56.5L) fuel tank; handlebar-mounted start/stop; rear grab handle; reboarding platform; and the industry's first and only digitally encoded theft-deterrent system.
